Application-hosting bandwidth

Application-hosting plans include unmetered bandwidth under this fair-use policy. We do not meter routine application traffic or charge an automatic overage for ordinary use.

For planning purposes, around 1 TB of outbound bandwidth per month is a reasonable expectation for smaller application instances. Larger application instances can generally use up to 5 TB per month.

When we may contact you

If sustained usage is unusually high, affects shared infrastructure, or materially exceeds these reasonable expectations, we may contact you to understand the workload and agree on an appropriate plan or architecture. We will not treat normal growth as abuse.

What this policy does not cover

This policy applies only where an application-hosting plan is labelled unmetered. Shared web-hosting plans have their own resource and acceptable-use limits and are not covered by this application-hosting bandwidth policy.
