Using HostRight
You are responsible for the content and activity on your account. Please use the service lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to systems.
Service availability
We work to keep HostRight available and reliable. Planned maintenance may occasionally be needed. When possible, we will give advance notice.
Enterprise infrastructure availability SLA
Enterprise application-hosting and hosted-database services may include a 99.9% monthly infrastructure-availability SLA when that commitment is stated in the applicable order or service agreement. Pro, Scale, and Performance plans have a 99.9% availability target, but do not include this SLA. The SLA measures the availability of the HostRight infrastructure that runs the affected service. It does not cover downtime caused by your application code, configuration, queries, deployments, third-party services, planned maintenance, or events outside HostRight's reasonable control.
If an eligible service falls below 99.9% infrastructure availability in a calendar month, the account holder may request a service credit for that affected service. Credits are calculated from the monthly charge actually paid for the affected service:
| Monthly infrastructure availability | Service credit |
|---|---|
| Less than 99.9% but at least 99.0% | 10% |
| Less than 99.0% but at least 95.0% | 25% |
| Less than 95.0% | 100% |
Credits are applied to the HostRight account for future service charges; they are not cash refunds, are non-transferable, and cannot exceed the affected service's charges for that month. To request a credit, contact support within 30 days of the affected month with the service and relevant incident details. Service credits are the sole remedy for a failure of this SLA.
Support
We provide support for our hosting service and will do our best to help you understand an issue. Help with third-party software may be limited by what we can safely access.
Changes
We may update these terms as HostRight evolves. Material changes will be published here with a new updated date.
